Finally, after seven years, Deadpool has his own R-rated movie. Ryan Reynolds, the actor of Deadpool/Wade Wilson, made his last appearance in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” in which he looked nothing like the chimichanga-loving anti-hero we’ve come to know from the comics. Reynolds has wanted to do a Deadpool movie ever since, and his plan fortunately has succeeded.

“I’ve wanted to make this movie with such a passion and desperation for so long,” said Reynolds. “To a certain extent, I was heartbroken when we couldn’t make it, and along comes a little miracle called the Internet, which our material is leaked onto and the fans demanded the movie.”

Reynolds got a little too excited once the filming was done and took his Deadpool suit from the set.

“I loved wearing it and I have run away with one – I’ll probably get in trouble for saying that, but I’ve waited ten years to do this movie, so I’m leaving with a suit,” said Reynolds.

With the combination of hilarious and unexpected marketing and social media hype, the movie raked in $135 million during its first three days in U.S. theaters. This movie completely dominates last year’s record-breaking erotic drama “Fifty Shades of Grey,” which earned $85.2 million.

Because of the positive feedback from the community, the cast plans on making another Deadpool movie.
