The students at Clear Lake High School hosted a mock election earlier this week. They could either vote for The Democratic Nominee, Hillary Clinton, or Republican Nominee, Donald Trump, or the Libertarian Nominee, Gary Johnson. All students went down to the Library and voted in their Economics or Government Class.

The voting continued throughout the day from morning to 2 p.m. The voting election announced that Trump had won by 15 votes. Before seventh period, Clinton was in the lead.

On November 8, Trump was the winner of the electoral college. He received 276 votes while Hillary received 218. Donald trump will move into the White House in January as Obama will leave.
