On Friday, October 27, the second season of Stranger Things was made available to stream on Netflix. Stranger Things is a very well-loved sci-fi television show, and the release of season two was highly anticipated by fans of the series, such as junior Wyatt King.

“The plot of Stranger Things kicks off when a young boy in middle school goes missing in a small Indiana town in 1983, and a strange young girl about the same age appears,” King said.

Stranger Things 2 continues the story of its main characters, Dustin, Lucas, Mike, and Will, as well as expanding on the actions of other characters in the show, such as Steve Harrington.

“Steve Harrington is my favorite character because he has by far the best character development,” King said. “Steve starts off as the high school jock who just kind of uses people, but then he develops into a big brother to everyone.”

Despite being a huge fan of Stranger Things, King also had some criticisms for the second season of the show.

“I liked Stranger Things Season 1 better because it had passion and direction with its plot instead of being random like Season 2,” King said. “Stranger Things 2 didn’t leave me with any new questions, and that was kind of disappointing.”

Whatever your thoughts on Stranger Things, you can now watch the second season and draw your own conclusions from it.
